While out for a weekend trip to Barnes & Noble with his girls, Ben Affleck ended up getting into a minor car accident after side swiping a vehicle in Santa Monica, CA on Saturday (October 6).

According to recent reports, the "Argo" actor accidentally ran into a parked Honda Civic and knocked off their left side mirror.

Being the good samaritan that he is, Ben left a note and his contact information on the windshield, on which he penned, "Hi, knocked off your mirror! Very sorry! Will cover everything—Ben."

Aside from the quick afternoon mishap, Affleck and his daughters, Seraphina and Violet, still enjoyed a day at the bookstore followed by a quick trip to McDonald's to grab some grub.
